Compliant Estate Law was established in 2009 by a small group of lawyers who shared a common frustration: real-estate transactions in Quebec were unnecessarily stressful for clients. The Civil Code of Quebec, combined with municipal zoning regulations and federal lending requirements, creates a web of rules that most people find overwhelming. We set out to change that experience.
From our first office on Rue Saint-Jean, we built a reputation for clear communication, transparent pricing and meticulous attention to detail. Founding partner — Nathalie has practised real-estate law in Quebec for over twenty years. She specialises in residential transactions and co-ownership disputes, and is a frequent speaker at the Barreau du Québec continuing-education seminars.
Marc-André Pelletier
Senior associate — Marc-André focuses on commercial real-estate transactions, including lease negotiations, due-diligence reviews and environmental compliance. He holds a graduate diploma in business law from Université Laval.
Sophie Tremblay
Associate — Sophie handles title searches, mortgage documentation and zoning analysis. She joined the firm after graduating top of her class at Université de Sherbrooke and completing her articling with a leading notarial practice.
